Bedroom Window Treatments Installed!

I just installed panels for a beautiful master bedroom yesterday morning. I believe it may have been one of my most tedious installations thus far, a lot of measuring and re-measuring!! My motto in sewing is, measure twice-cut once or in this circumstance, measure twice-install once! My client picked out the perfect hardware from Rose Gate Designs off Highway 119 in Inverness. What she picked out was nothing like she imagined in the beginning of this process. My advice is to shop around, take your fabric with you when you are trying to pick out hardware. You may even want to take a paint swatch to see how the hardware will look against your walls. As you can see in the pictures, she wanted privacy but did not want to block the great view of the
golf course. The panels on the bay are functional so that she can open and close them as needed. The panels that flank the bed are stationary and are pulled back by a medallion that matches the finish that is on the rod. We also added a Euro pillow for the bed so that the bedding and panels are tied together. She plans to add additional throw pillows to the bedding as well.
